boy patrick ("nipper")

boy patrick was a member of and leader in the leather community for over twelve years.  As such, he earned various leather titles and honors.  He served as alpha boy to Master Roy, was the founder and producer of the International Puppy & Trainer Contest, a founding member of the Texas Leather Tribe, and a visionary with the simple dream to help others. He was a presenter at Beyond Vanilla XI and VXII, Southplains ‘02, Ohio Leather Fest, and many other educational weekends.  patrick respected leather tradition but could not resist adding his own unique twist while living the leather lifestyle to his fullest.  patrick passed away in December 2004 in Houston, Texas surrounded by both his leather and biological family.

Teeter Totter-a-Thon

One legacy boy patrick brought to the community in Houston in 2004 was that of Teeter-Totter-a-Thon.  This was a new concept of fundraising were folks would donate and garner pledge money to ride the teeter-totter for a set time limit.  The key to the event was to make sure it was done somewhere with wide public exposure and interaction.  The goal was to have the teeter-totter ridden non-stop for 24 hours.  This event met with much success in Houston.  His vision was that the unusual fundraising concept would be a great way for the community to have fun while helping those who needed it most.  Patrick planted the seed of bringing the event to Dallas with slave kiki.  Slave kiki marshaled support from members of NLA: Dallas, the Texas Leather Tribe, and many local volunteers to bring the idea to fruition in Dallas in 2005.    For the past few years, the Teeter-Totter-a-Thon has been hosted at NLA: Dallas’ Beyond Vanilla showcase weekend.

International Puppy & Trainer Contest (IPTC)

ITPC (now iPUP) began in Houston as the International Puppy Contest (IPC) in 2001 by founder, patrick chees, aka nipper. It was his vision that there would be an event that would help get people together who are into the pup headspace.
